Stabilizer coupling ALKO AKS 3004
The AKS™ 3004 comes with an excellent design and improved ergonomics. Swaying and pitching movements are reduced even at the start. The unique stabilising hitch with four friction pads ensures safe and relaxed towing for trailers with a total weight of up to 3000 kg.
Anyone who frequently travels with a trailer or caravan knows the problem: in an instant, it can start to sway. A dangerous situation where the rig can quickly take on a life of its own and become detached. For this, AL-KO offers the AKS 3004 stabiliser hitch for caravans, also known as a "safety hitch", which is mounted instead of the ball hitch on the caravan's drawbar. The caravan is then attached to the towing vehicle's hitch. You can easily make this change yourself. You will notice: The stabiliser hitch reduces the rig's swaying movements and allows for smoother driving.
