Solar Panel Kit 360 W (Complete)
We at Husvagn-Svensson have put together a solar panel kit to make it easy to find the products needed for a complete system.
The solar panel package consists of 360W (3 panels) monocrystalline panels (higher efficiency even when cloudy), a 30 Ampere MPPT regulator (MPPT is the new system, PWM is the old one). Included mounting feet and cable gland for the hole in the roof.
The mounting feet are glued to the roof; our workshop uses Veidec. It is very important that the surface is thoroughly cleaned. The underside of the feet should be rasped/filed for better adhesion. We are not responsible for incorrect installations.
We recommend connecting the solar cells in series, as the cable supplied with the solar cells can then be used (in most other cases, it would have to be replaced with a thicker one).
The regulator should always be mounted as close to the batteries as possible; twenty centimeters can be crucial for voltage loss.
If you were to connect the solar cells in parallel, there is a calculator for the required cable thickness between the solar cells and the regulator. 24VOLT.EU
