240W Solar Panel Kit (Complete)
We at Husvagn-Svensson have put together a solar panel kit to make it easy to find the products needed for a complete system.
The solar panel package consists of 240W (2 panels) monocrystalline panels (higher efficiency even when cloudy), a 30 Ampere MPPT controller (MPPT is the new system, PWM is the old one). Included mounting feet and cable gland for the hole in the roof.
The mounting feet are glued to the roof; our workshop uses Veidec. It is very important that the surface is thoroughly cleaned. The underside of the feet should be roughened/filed for better adhesion. We are not responsible for incorrect installations.
We recommend connecting the solar cells in series, as the cable included with the solar cells can then be used (in most other cases, it must be replaced with a thicker gauge).
The controller should always be mounted as close to the batteries as possible; a distance of about 20 centimeters can be crucial for voltage loss.
If the solar cells are connected in parallel, there is a calculator for the required cable thickness between the solar cells and the controller. 24VOLT.EU
