The MXS 5.0 charger incorporates the same modern technology found in CTEK's previous professional products. The charger solves many battery-related problems and is perfect for those who have high demands. The MXS 5.0 has functions that examine and show if the battery can be charged and maintain a charge, a special reconditioning function that restores stratified and deeply discharged batteries, unique maintenance charging, and a mode for optimized charging during cold winter days. The MXS 5.0 can also charge demanding batteries (e.g., Optima). The entire charging process can be monitored on the unique display. The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 8-step charger that provides 0.8A or 5A for 12V batteries between 1.2 and 110Ah, and it is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160Ah. The charger is IP 65-rated (splash and dust proof), protects vehicle electronics, creates no sparks, and is reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof. 5-year warranty.
